The minimum requirements for the structural performance of building materials and forms of construction are specified in the NCC in part B1. In it, it is specified which characteristics you should consider and the Australian Standards you must refer to depending on the type of system you are using; for example, when using masonry, AS3700 should be considered, when having a concrete construction, AS3600 should be considered, when using steel structure, AS4100 should be considered, and so on.
